Description
Corporations are realizing the importance of being socially responsible in its actions, processes and policies as it benefits all the stakeholders of the company and also benefits the environment and communities (Urip, 2010). Corporate Social Responsibility is essential in today’s business environment to maintain ecological balance. This report discusses the different perspectives of CSR activities, its significance and its role in achieving sustainable business. The choice of the sources for the report was done based on how the authors of the articles have assessed CSR significance and studied the perspectives of CSR activities. The sources were chosen to understand how CSR activities enhance corporate effectiveness and efficiency and how it influences its ecological environment.
