Description

The paper focuses firstly on conducting an ethnographic study related to the use of practical tasks in schools such that it endeavors to identify the factors and the rationale that prompted the development and planning of practical task sets in the different subjects. It would also help in identifying the research style that would be used for conducting the analysis of the benefits gained to the students relating to the use of practical tasks. Potential research questions would be generated relating to the above issues and data collection and analysis methods would be evaluated. The paper in the concluding section would also draw a comparison between ethnographic and case study based research styles related to the issue such that the purpose and benefits relate to the same would be evaluated.
