Qantas is world’s leading airline. It was founded in 1920 in Queensland, Australia and is Australia’s largest airline both on domestic and international level. Qantas offer services in forty four countries located across the world in Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East, America and also locally within Australia.
Qantas’s main business is providing air travel service to its passengers by using two complimentary airline brands known as Qantas and Jetstar. Qantas is divided into three closely related groups, Commercial, Customer and Marketing and Opeartions.
Commercial group includes sales and distribution, commercial planning, Qantas link and alliances. Customer and marketing includes customer experience, cabin crew, inflight services and marketing. The operations comprises engineering, airports, catering, flight operations, operations planning and control and Qantas Aviation services.
