Africa since a large number of years has been affected with high rates of unemployment when compared to other countries and this trend is observed particularly amongst the youth. That high rate of unemployment poses a huge threat to the growth and advancement of the economy. Employment today is a global problem and in case of Africa this problem is quite huge. Unemployment in the country is marked by seasonal layoffs, technical adjustments in industry due to increased automation, lack of necessary skills by youths, racial discrimination and instabilities of the local economies. As a result it is a very serious issue facing the country.
