The differences and variations in actions, belief and tastes found in people belonging to different generations is referred as generation gap (Beck & Wade, 2006). Analysing generation gap is important and crucial for business as they need to balance to the changing demographics in their opinions and requirements. Generation gap has broadened itself in 20th and 21st century though it exists since ages. Traditional generation, Baby Boom generation, Generation X and Generation Y are the four generations that are need to be discussed. They mostly vary in their work attitude, employers trust, respect and rights, ways and requirements of training, personal and professional life balance, behaviour on being evaluated and supervised, and many more.
