This assignment discusses epidemiological evidences and review of studies to find out whether instances of low back pain are higher in nursing field where manual handling of patients is still prevalent as compared to other professions and also reason behind higher instances of low back pain. This assignment then attempt recommends ways to mitigate the risks to nurses at workplace and also on improving nursing practice based on health promotion models.
