Description
The real area of concern for leadership is to make the change be realized in an organization. Although multitudes of research has been carried out to establish what makes a leader effective but there is no formulated consensus on what features make a leader more effective. Most importantly, effective leaders results from a critical balance between behaviors and duties of an individual as observed by Baker (2011). All these factors play an important role in the determining how the leaders influence followers and achieve their goals.
It follows that any member of organization or firm may assume a leadership position gave the level of innate features and he conditions surrounding the events. Several people in an organization can effectively influence what the organization does, the methodology to achieve it as well as the method which the organization’s employees relates with one another. The most effective way of measuring individual leadership level is the extent the organization can achieve its goals and objectives (Tracy 2008).
