Description
Public Policy or commonly referred as domestic policy is essentially a vital part of any society. And the country governing system is one who is responsible for forming public policies in interest of common masses and country culture combined with other local beliefs. It is all pervasive in all areas of society. To name a few- Health Policy, Economic Policy, Social Policy, Criminal Justice Policy, Environment Policy, Energy Policy and many more.
It might seem a part of our life and we take it for granted but how do they come into existence is a big question. It’s not just policy but also the applicability of the black and white words in the society. Hence, it becomes quite a complicated phenomenon. Political System of any country goes parallel to the policy making towards the betterment of any system. However simple it seems but it takes ages for a policy to get sanctioned and implemented into the society.
Identification of policy needs, competing interests in relation to competing interests (such as public, business and society at large) and then action plan; there’s lot to go that government has to play on. The aura of political circumstances is hence highly integrated in this context. Form of government and political pressures decides the nature of public policy a country have.
