Digital library is one such field which has been a result of these advances and developments. Digital libraries are libraries in which the collections are digitized and are stored in electronic form. This has got various advantages as well as disadvantages. Both computer scientists and information scientists have been working on designing and improving the digital libraries and make it sustainable for the future.
