- 1. What is the IPCC and what is its role?
- 2. The most recent IPCC Climate Change Assessment Report (AR4) was released in 2007. This report had four main sections:
- a. AR4 Synthesis Report
- b. Working Group 1 – the Physical Science Basis
- c. Working Group 2 – Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability
- d. Working Group 3 –Mitigation of Climate Change
- What information is contained in these reports, and how is this arranged?
- 3. What is the difference between climate change adaptation and climate change mitigation? Give examples of climate change mitigation and adaptation activities.
- 4. What does AR4 have to say about your country’s vulnerability to the impacts of climate change?
