There has been a lot of attention given in the recent past to the social impact of business. With an increase in the number of Multi-national companies and the increase in size of the small business, their impact on the society is being closely monitored. Companies are now taking their corporate social responsibility more seriously and are trying to ensure that they are going to have a positive impact on the society as the overall success of the business depends on it. This report is aimed at reviewing the social performance of Unilever. It analyses the impact that the company has on the society and its stakeholders. The report will examine both the positive and negative aspects of the company’s performance.
