Description
This report is based on the following requirement -
Scenario:
You are working as a manager for the last 7 years in a big scale company. Last month you were informed by management you were chosen as one of the three candidates to be assigned to a “regional director” position within the same company. You have waited for this position for a few years and decision will be made by top management by the end of the year. (which means you have more than 6 months). In order to prepare yourself for the new position, you made a plan to cover the task below.
Task-1
Understand the relationship between strategic management and leadership
(AC. 1.1) Explain the link between strategic management and leadership.
(AC. 1.2) Analyse the impact of management and leadership styles on strategic decisions.
(AC.1.3) Evaluate how leadership styles can be adapted to different situations.
Task-2
