Description
This report is based on the following requirements -
Consultancy report
Given the nature of your chosen organisation you may decide to focus on the organisation in total (for example, if it is a small organisation with one brand) or a particular geographic area and / or a particular brand (for example, a single brand offered by a global corporation in Europe) or a single brand in a specific geographic area. The key is to enable the report to be sufficiently detailed and comprehensive.
The organisation has asked you to provide your report as they wish to increase market share.
1. Overview of the findings of a comprehensive marketing audit (20%)
The main body of the report should only contain an overview of your findings. The main findings may be contained within an appendix of up to 6 pages. The content of the appendix will not be marked but it will indicate the research that has been undertaken to ensure that the overview presented in the main body of the assignment provides a suitably robust basis for the development of a marketing strategy that will increase market share.
2. Marketing objective (10%)
A marketing objective relating to increased marketing share that is SMART and consistent with the preceding marketing audit should be proposed.
3. Marketing strategy proposal (30%)
A marketing strategy reflecting relevant theory and consistent with the marketing audit findings should be clearly presented and well justified.
4. An outline tactical marketing mix proposal (25%)
An outline proposal of how the marketing mix (4 or 7 Ps dependent on your choice of organisation) should be included that shows how each element of the mix could be utilised in order to realise the proposed marketing strategy.
