- The HR department of any organisation plays an important role in the achievement of organisational aims and objectives. The HR department plays this role through a variety of very important functions ranging from recruitment to helping manage the changes in the global environment.
Task:
Study the Human Resource Department of a government/private sector company in Oman and write a report critically analysing their present Human Resource Management Functions with special reference towards suggesting strategies to improve the effectiveness of the HR department in light of the changes in global environment.
Guidelines:
You must support your report by studying the HR department of one government /private sector organization in Oman as an example to demonstrate their present HRM functions.
Your report must include recommendations to the chosen organisation for enhancing the effectiveness of their HRM functions in view of the changing global environment e.g. technology, communication, internet etc.
Your report must include a literature review on HRM functions in global organisations.
