Description

Rover Hotel is one such organization dealing in hospitality management, render hospitality services to potential customers, visitors and plans to undergo tremendous changes for successful implementation of business information system. The question now arises as what this business information system is all about and if this new system is implemented in the hotel then, how would it benefit the company and its people. In layman terms, technology keeps changing and information erodes with time. To keep pace with changing time in era of globalization, change in MIS is essential. The first section of the report highlights on the use of business information system in an organization. It delves with various concepts in BIS and resources required for its successful implementation in an organization. The report draws on possible advantages of e-business if implemented at Rover Hotel. In the end, various information system strategies have been discussed to increase company’s market share in hospitality industry.
