Description
This report answers following questions on the case study –
Q1. Draw an organisational chart showing the interviewee’s position in the hierarchy.
Q2. Include the answers to the questionnaire items 1-13 from the interview list on p. 401. Draw a bar chart, or other figure, to show the degree of organic or mechanistic structure of the manager’s organisation.
Q3. Provide a summary of the responses regarding the manager’s view of organic and mechanistic organisational structure in relation to his/her position.
Q4. Discuss how the structure of the manager you interviewed suited, or did not suit, the nature or the organisation’s environment and his/her work requirements.
