Research on animal has played a central role in the biomedical research throughout history. Millions of animals are used throughout each and every parts of the world for commercial and scientific testing. Animals are used to develop medicines, various kinds of medical treatments, analysing the toxicities of the medications, to check the safety of various products which are for the purpose of human use also on healthcare uses (Portaluppi, Francesco, Michael et al., 1911-1929). Researchers stated that testing on animals has helped in the development of many lifesaving drugs and treatments for both humans and animals. According to the researchers, animals are the best alternative for the purpose of testing medicines which is helpful for the society. This inhumane practices are not developed in the recent decades, the practice on the animals was originated from 500 BC.
