This assignment highlights the way a multinational company operates its business across various markets which have different consumer preferences and different economic scenarios. It helps us to understand the dynamics of MNC’s operation by taking the example of TATA MOTORS, a flagship company of the TATA Group. The major points in this assignment include the methods adopted by TATA MOTORS in raising finance through international financial markets along with its domestic markets. It also includes the importance of economic factors in the life cycle of a multinational company through the eyes of TATA MOTORS. National Income, Inflations, interest rates, exchange rates being some of the economic factors affecting the overall business of a multinational company is showcased in this project and how a company like TATA MOTORS hedges itself against the various economic risks.
